Linh Hoang
Linh's research interests include information management, knowledge discovery, and data analytics. She is motivated to build smarter information systems that can help people get insights from data and make important decisions, without the hassle of going through the laborious work of collecting and disambiguating knowledge.  Linh is currently working with Professor Jodi Schneider on information extraction on healthcare data. Particularly, they study the medication systematic review process and propose solutions for automatic extraction of important medical data elements that could help reduce the time necessary to complete a systematic review in healthcare.
