Cheryl Thompson
Cheryl A. Thompson is a Research Assistant at CIRSS. She received her MS in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). Before she joined CIRSS in 2012, Ms. Thompson had acquired over 10 years of experience in social research and data management. Currently, she is working on a survey of the Specialization in Data Curation graduates.

Ms. Thompson is pursuing a PhD at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois. Her research interests include scientific data curation and workforce issues.
