Description: METACANON is an interactive canon generator that measures the canonicity of literary works based on the number of citations they have received in scholarly journals.

Guest Speaker Nathan Conroy, Brown University will be speaking on
His interests include the late 19th century and 20th century American novel, religion and literature, Marxist literary theory, and digital humanities. His dissertation in progress, American Literature and the Religion of the Disinherited: Antisecularism and Fiction 1873-1960, examines the role played by Protestant fundamentalism in the American literary imagination from the 1870s to the 1960s.
